                         Medical coding is the process of assigning codes to medical diagnoses and procedures. It is a critical part of the medical billing process and involves using a specific set of codes to accurately describe a medical service or procedure that was performed.

                         Medical coding is an important part of the healthcare industry because it not only helps to accurately and efficiently track patient medical records, but also helps to ensure that healthcare providers are reimbursed for the services rendered.

                         Psoriasis is a chronic skin condition that causes patches of thick, red, scaly skin to form. It usually appears on the scalp, elbows, and knees, but can also affect other parts of the body. Plaque psoriasis is the most common type of psoriasis, and is characterized by raised, red patches of skin covered with silvery-white scales. Treatment for plaque psoriasis typically includes topical medications, phototherapy, and oral medications.
